May to October marks the dry season or winter in Bora Bora, when temperatures are a bit cooler between 79 to 84 degrees Fahrenheit. The high season is also best for water sports due to comfortable water temperatures and increased visibility.

The wet season in Bora Bora, from December onwards, is cloudier with an increased chance of rain. The temperatures go up a little and humidity kicks in. Hurricanes or cyclones are rare but they can blow through at this time of year. April and November are in-between the wet and dry seasons of Bora Bora. You’ll have some rain and humidity but the rain showers pass quite quickly. Visiting during these months guarantees pleasant weather, fewer tourists and some excellent deals.
