The Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors are both coming off losses as the two square off for the second time this season at Chase Center on Wednesday night.
All eyes will be on the marquee matchup between Steph Curry and Ja Morant, who have both been on fire in the lead-up to Wednesday night’s contest.
Steph’s good play has been one of the few constants for Golden State this season. Curry has led the Warriors to two wins in their past five games, averaging 26.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists. This stretch included a 41-point explosion against the Wizards in Washington.
Morant is having a stellar season and sits well within the MVP conversation. The enigmatic guard is averaging 27.2 points, 5.5 rebounds and 7.9 assists as the Grizzlies sit second overall in the Western Conference.
Having just lost at the hands of the Nets 120-116, the Warriors sit on the brink of the Western Conference playoff picture in 10th position with a record of 23-24.
Meanwhile, the Grizzlies enjoy a healthy 31-16 record, but will be hungry to atone for a heavy 33-point loss to the Kings in Sacramento last time out.
