Stefon Diggs’ frustration during the Bills’ 27-10 loss to the Bengals in the AFC Divisional Round couldn’t have been more evident.
As the Bills dropped in the AFC semifinals for the second year in a row, Diggs — who had 35 yards on four catches in the game — was seen yelling at Josh Allen on the sidelines. When the game was over, he exited quickly before being reeled back into the locker room for Sean McDermott’s postgame speech, after which he immediately exited again.
Diggs has been known to wear his heart on his sleeve, but he clearly didn’t miss the criticism being levied against him by NFL fans, and he took to Twitter with a simple statement on Monday.
Diggs followed up by saying the score — not the way he acted — is the difference.

Allen, for his part, downplayed the interaction on the bench and chalked it up to pure frustration.
“Guys are competitive,” Allen said to reporters. “We don’t wanna lose. It’s not fun losing. It’s not fun losing that way. So it’s all understood, at the end of the day, we all gotta be there for each other and keep pushing forward.”
The Bills receiver tends to be the center of attention when they do lose. Last year when the Bills lost to the Chiefs in heartbreaking fashion, a viral photo circulated of him standing and watching the celebration from afar.
Obviously this reaction was the polar opposite of being the last man on the field, so the frustration apparently bubbled over. If Diggs’ reaction is anything to go by, however, he’s not going to be changing his reaction to losing any time soon.
