Jackson’s Instagram message reads:
When you have something good, you don’t play with it. You don’t take chances losing it. You don’t neglect it. When you have something good, you pour into it. You appreciate it. Because when you take care of something good, that good thing takes care of you too. ??

It’s unclear to what Jackson may be referring, but it seems safe to presume that the message mirrors his thoughts surrounding his standing with the organization. The two sides couldn’t reach a long-term deal prior to the start of the 2022 season, and it has led to a seemingly icy stalemate between the two sides.
Jackson is recovering from a PCL injury and hasn’t played since suffering the injury in Week 13. He didn’t travel with the team to Cincinnati in the wild-card round, leading to further speculation that he may be very done with the organization.
J.K. Dobbins was vocal about his support of Jackson in the aftermath of the Ravens’ playoff exit, saying that the team would have won had Jackson been under center.
The Ravens recently signed linebacker Roquan Smith a five-year, $100 million contract extension, leading to thoughts that they may not have enough cap room to sign Jackson to the contract he wants.
