The NFL wild-card weekend wraps up on Monday night, as the Buccaneers host the Cowboys in the final game of the first round of the 2023 NFL playoffs.
Despite finishing under .500, the Bucs’ 8-9 record was enough to win the NFC South. Tom Brady set a new single-season NFL record by completing 485 passes, breaking the record he previously set.
On the other side that is a Cowboys team that ended the regular season with a record of 12-5, which was not enough to win the NFC East with the Eagles finishing 13-4. Dallas finished tied for the best home record in the league, going 8-1 when in Arlington. However, the team, which went 4-4 as playing away, goes on the road for their first playoff game.
The two clubs played in the first “Sunday Night Football” game of the 2022 regular season. The Bucs came out of that contest with a 19-3 victory.
