Fixtures over the festive period can be season-defining in the Premier League season, with several matches being played over a short span of time.
This season, however, there are some significant changes. Firstly, the games on Boxing Day marked the return of the Premier League after a six-week absence as a result of the 2022 World Cup being played in Qatar.
Despite many managers previously complaining about fixtures congestion during the holidays, there will still be a total of three matchdays over the festive period.
The first round of games took place around Boxing Day (Dec. 26-28), and the other two rounds are either side of New Year’s Day: 10 matches from Dec. 30-Jan. 1 and another 10 matches from Jan. 2-5.
In total it makes for 30 Premier League matches in a span of 11 days. Here’s a look at all of the fixtures over the festive period below.
